Soaked in Saltiness: I Hate the Rain.

Have you ever heard the expression, “Everything is better when it’s wet?”

Yeah, me neither.

Oh hey, London. It’s Gina. I have a message for you. Come real close now so I can whisper it in your ear.

“STOP BEING SO DAMN WET.”

There, I said it.

As you all know, we have been staying in London the past several days. And the whole time, it has rained. Except for that one time. And guess who didn’t bring rain gear. Just guess, readers.

Now, I don’t mean to come across whiny, “Oh wahhh, it’s raining on my trip to Europe wahhh.” But seriously. Whaddahell.

This is compounded by the fact that today…we failed. (See Jessie’s blog post).

Yesterday morning we took a spin on one of those classy double decker bus tours in the morning. It drizzled.

Next, we ventured onto a super classy river boat cruise (not). Aqua attack.

Then we ambled over to the Tower of London. So awesome. Then it poured.

Today, we attempted to take photos outside of Big Ben. MONSOON.

Typically, I am a very reasonable, rational, logical person. But when my jeans get wet, and my hair looks like Diana Ross’, I get a little crazy. Not to mention the fact that everyone else got complimentary ponchos from their bus tours. Except us, apparently.

Oh well. I plan to stand defiant against the weather. I refuse to buy rain gear. Take that, weather.
